A beautiful family + A beautiful (blustery) day in Yorktown, VA = One happy Photographer
Congrats
to the Gates Family, they were the winners of MLP Studio's Big Birthday
Giveaway back in August. The family was waiting for a the fall weather
to roll in so they could toss on their sweaters for some cozy pictures and BOY did it. We had
quite the blustery day, so blustery in fact that we canceled the "Beach"
portion of our shoot and sought shelter from the wind behind some local
historic sites.
I
had a super fun morning chasing their little man around with my camera.
And don't you just LOOOVE all those curls? He's just a couple months
older than my own little guy so I knew just what to do to get his
attention, we played lots of peek-a-boo, ran around like chickens with
our heads cut off, sang silly songs and even rolled around on the ground
for a few shots. He was an absolutely champ with the cold weather!! And
those big ole smiles are absolutely genuine, he's one super happy boy.
