Abigail 3 Months {Yorktown Newborn Photographer}

Three months already, my my how the time does pass oh so quickly.  The seasons do change and the babies get older...  wait, aren't those the words to a song??   *grin*

This was a special session.. Initially, I just wanted to document Abby at 3 months and get some pictures of her older brothers loving on her. Though I did get one or two cute ones with the boys, the real treasure was at the end of the session when Mom scooped Abby up to settle her down and snuggle. 

I'll be honest and say that I was wiping away tears when I was editing these pictures. They brought back so many sweet moments with my own little man and oh how I wish I had them to keep for always. They just have a way of melting your heart, you can feel the tenderness and love between this Mother and her Daughter... A very special session indeed.

Enchanted Tea Party {Williamsburg Custom Photographer}

Last month I offered a casting call for a little bity beauty to partake in an Teddy Bear Tea Party after a recent prop shopping trip to the Williamsburg Antique mall.  While on the hunt for a quilt,  I found the cute yellow chairs, the darling antique petticoat dress and the hodge-podge tea set.  With all the parts and pieces, I just couldn't resist setting a fun photoshoot.  We had a wonderfully fantastic time playing in the backyard, its so amazing to watch a little one's imagination blossom in front of your eyes. We had so much fun in fact, that it momentarily made me long to have a little girl of my own. But I snapped out of that when our little guy woke up from his nap. Ha!!  

These photos have definitely been a labor of love, I've been so caught up in client edits that I've only had the opportunity to dabble here and there so my sincerest apologies that they took so long to finish. AND, I might not be done yet...  This week I'm partaking in a mentor session with fabulous CRAVE Photography.  So after the session, I might just revisit these photos and see if I can make them even moooore magical.
